Not at all! The event is open for both rated and unrated players. If you’re unrated, you can create a FIDE ID before the event.

Registrations are limited and strictly first-come, first-serve. Early registration is highly recommended.

You still get a participation e-certificate, medal (if early-bird participant or winner), and valuable experience against rated opponents.
